The New Standard in Non-Invasive Body Contouring

How it works

Achieve a slimmer, natural looking appearance without surgery or downtime.*

What is SculpSure?

SculpSure is a body-contouring treatment designed to reduce stubborn fat in problem areas such as the abdomen and the love handles, helping you achieve a slimmer appearance without surgery or downtime.*

How does it work?

SculpSure uses light-based laser technology to destroy fat cells. Applicators are secured onto of your skin that emit lasers through the skin (without affecting it) to heat up the cells and destroy them.*

This is what the applicator looks like:

How the technology works:

Targeted laser energy heats fat cells under the skin without affecting the skin’s surface.* The temperature of fat cells is raised to the point where the structural integrity of the cell is damaged.* Over the next three months, the damaged fats are naturally processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.* Fat cells are removed and will not regenerate. Results can be seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results are usually seen at 12 weeks.*

Who is it best for?

The ideal candidate for SculpSure is someone with stubborn fat around the tummy and/or love handle area.*

If you have changed your diet and undertaken exercise but cannot shift that last bit of stubborn fat then SculpSure will suit you perfectly. It is designed for patients in the normal to overweight category on the Body Mass Index (BMI), people with a BMI under 30.*

What to expect during your SculpSure Treatment

If you fall into the obese category your clinician will be able to discuss other options with you, with the possibility of having SculpSure after a preliminary treatment or changing your lifestyle to lose weight. An appropriate treatment would be something like liposuction.*

What is the actual treatment like?

Setting up:

  1. Before you have your treatment you will have had a consultation with your clinician to establish which areas you would like to target.*
  2. During treatment your doctor will mark on your body with pen the areas to be targeted.*
  3. They will then fit a customised applicator pattern to fit your body and target the right area.*
  4. You will then be asked to lie down on a bed to fit the SculpSure applicators on to your body*
  5. The applicators will be secured into the pattern to rest on the body part that is being treated.*
  6. The SculpSure machine will then be turned on and treatment will begin.*

During treatment:

When the treatment starts you will feel a cooling sensation that helps keep your skin comfortable throughout the treatment. The first four minutes of the treatment is the build phase.*

After these few minutes you will feel alternating sensations of deep warmth and cooling as the lasers start to destroy your cells. This will continue for 21 minutes until the treatment is complete. Your clinician will be with you at the beginning of your treatment. If you need them at any point during the process you will be given a buzzer to call them in.*

After treatment:

Your clinician will remove the applicators and you will be able to carry on with your regular routine straight away. No immediate aftercare is needed.*

Does it hurt?

You may experience some discomfort during SculpSure. Generally you will experience fluctuations in temperature on the treatment areas, going from cold to a sensation of deep warmth intermittently throughout the treatment.*

After the treatment you may experience slight soreness around the treatment area, but this is short-lived. Often patients describe it as feeling as if they have done a lot of sit-ups. Patients can return to their normal daily routine immediately.*

Find out what patients have said by reading our patient reviews.*

Are there any side effects?

Possible side effects include slight swelling around the area treated and a little soreness, though most patients’ day-to-day routine is not disrupted by these side effects.*

How long does it take?

SculpSure takes 25 minutes and multiple areas can be treated at once.*

How many treatments will I need?

SculpSure is usually completed within 1 to 2 sessions. You can treat multiple areas at one time, so you can treat both sides of your body at once (unlike coolsculpting, for example).*

How do I know which area to treat?

Treatment areas are established during your initial consultation with your clinician. At present, SculpSure is FDA approved for the stomach area and the flanks (love handles), but you do not have to have both sides of your body treated and you may only want your stomach treated, for example.*

What results can I expect?

Results can be seen by six weeks though it normally takes 12 weeks for optimal results and improvements can continue to progress for up to six months. Studies have shown that SculpSure can reduce up to 2 cm fat over a six month period.*

Take a look at our Before and After images to see the results for yourself.*

Your clinician will recommended a follow-up consultation after treatment to monitor progress.*
